the remington 870 hands down can't be beat.literally millions have been sold since it's introduction.many, many deer and other wildlife have been taken with the 870.i have never had to worry about reliability in the field,it always works when it needs to.i've personally seen guys with their expensive shotguns at the skeet/trap ranges touting how much their shotguns cost, but in the end when you see them in the field whether hunting ducks, rabbit, deer, or whatever, most go into the field with a 870 in hand.

That's a GREAT deal. I would jump on that asap. I would pay the $150 and keep your .22 mag. The 870 is probally the most revered shotgun ever.

Everyone needs a 12 gauge pumpgun. It is the most versatile firearm ever made. The 870 is a fine shotgun but I prefer the Mossberg 500 myself because of the location of the slide release and tang safty. (and keep your .22 mag)

I own 2 870's...wouldn't trade them for anything. That's a great deal.

For that money, BUY NOW!! You can't go wrong, it won't be fancy but it will do what you need for years.

Good call. The 870 is the workhorse of the shotgun industry. It's like owning a pick up truck. Once you have one you can't live without it.

Yeah, $150 is a steal. I had a chance to pick one up for $ 200 after Christmas and I didn't move on it. I went back the next day to buy it. Someone literally picked it up after me and purchased it. Talk about a disappointment.

I wouldn't make that deal. Keep your .22mag. I bought my 870 brand new at Bass Pro for $225.
