Hawk after trapped Squirrel
I trapped this squirrel in my box trap, and a red-tailed hawk spotted it and thought it was a free meal. The hawk didn't get the squirrel, the squirrel bit the hawk's foot and it eventually flew away.

An extremely interesting picture to say the least. I've seen coyotes try to get at rabbits caught in similar Hav-A-Heart traps.
Ha!Ha!Ha! I bet that squirrel was a nervous wreck!
Both animals were probably very unhappy with this situation. haha
That's too cool! Last year when I was hunting deer from my stand, I witnessed a hawk come out of nowhere and take out a dove. I whached the whole thing. That was neat. Thanks for sharing the picture!
