i would say it all depends for both your questions. nothing is the best all the time .
That's a tough one... Elk Hair Caddis would have to be up there though. It's always my fail-safe fly.
Depends ... but the bead head Hare's Ear Nymph imitates a lot of different bugs on the stream bed.
wooly bugger.
Stimulator with a copper john dropper
If you are just starting out, and haven't mastered the subtlties, a wooly bugger is a good alla round fly to start out with.
i agree with robinhood wooly buggers seem to work in alot of conditions and are pretty basic to fish
