Q:
Im going night fishing soon off a sandy area we call the "Spit" for stripers. Anyone know good rigs for live eels and clams?

10/0 circle hook tied to 5 feet of 50 pound mono tied to a 150 pound ball bearing swivel. the main line is 50 pound sufix braid. slide a sinker slide onto the main line before you tie the swivel on.

never had this rig fail on me. caught stripers up to 30 pounds, bluefish up to 15 pounds and sharks up to 200 pounds.
