Up in NY we would use corn to fish for carp most of the time. Always seemed to catch them just did not always stay on the hook.
I am interested in your feedback. Thanks, I wrote this to see about trout fisherman because trout can't digest the kernels and it kills them, carp on the other hand will be just fine. Thanks again.
i cose it for triout the first few days of the season
corn on a baitholder hook always worked for carp when i was a kid. Chum with a little loose corn makes it all the better.
I do not understand what you are asking?
Only for carp when i Can't flyfish due to high waters.
But Yea, On a hook a foot down from a secret rig i make.
usmcturkey. Are you or were you in the aremed services? Marine or just a cool user name? Just curious.
only on crawdads
I am currently in the Marine Corps. Served in Afghanistan for 7 months, was wounded over there too.
Green Giant, works great for "stream chicken" trout...
WOW! Props to you. Hope you're doing fine. If you don't mind could I have your e-mail address please. I have an idea that I would like to share with you?!
Stream Chicken! HAHAHAHAHAHA
thanks. I'll send you an e-mail.
i use regular cooked corn on a small pond on a small hook
Corn is totally illegal in my state for the reason that it kills fish who eat it. It kills them because the hull cannot break down and blocks the bowel, causing it and the fish to die.
Get the cheapest Wal-Mart or Kroger brand. The fish won't know the difference. Works well on Trout.
I have always used corn for panfish, bluegill and breem love it and its cheap bait.
THANK YOU CHARLEY!!! That's my whole point for the "bait slingers" here in East Tenn. It may be o.k. for other species? I don't know, but it kills trout and does damage to the other species as well.
instead of using corn i use the yum corn troutkrilla yellow (corn pellets)
i meant yellow yum trout krilla corn pellets my bad
i am a PA trout fisherman, and the corn works just as good here... I like canned corn because it gives off the most scent
also i might occasionally dip my lures in the canned corn juice
spinner works best
They say don't knock it until you try it. I've never tried it. Didn't know corn killed fish though.
