Buy yourself a tube of white lithium grease (any brand) at home depot for $3. Lasts for years, easy application (tube) and cleanup. I've used it on my duck gun for 15 years in heavy rain and mud and never had one stick or rust. RIG is great too, it just costs 5 times as much.

I use gun grease rather than oil.
A high temp anti-seize grease - the same stuff I use for my muzzleloader breech plug. Overkill, but ....
Remoil
silicone spray
Anti- seize automotive grease. I have never had a problem with removal from any guns brought into my store.
>muzzleloader breech plug
I just assumed those things were doomed [vbg]
Birchwood-Casey choke tube grease. Good stuff, but messy.
Tetra gun grease.
breech plug grease that I use on my muzzleloader.
I don't know if they even sell it any more, buy it is a grease called RIG, and it works great.
I usually just put a little rem oil on it before installing and I have never had a problem getting them out.

gunoil
Just a couple drops of Remoil and your good to go.
i use remington oil.
I USE THE SAME ANTI SEIZE GREASE THAT I USE ON MY MUZZLELOADER BREECH PLUG.
I got some anti seize at NAPA and applied it lightly, then wiped most of it off. Seems to work fine.
Agreed with Del in KS and + 1 for you sir!!!
