If they contain phosphorus, yes, they do. An advantage on day-glo orange, a disadvantage on earth-tone camo.
IDK about deer's UV range, I think their visible range is the same as dogs.
Well, you just have to look at the bottle. If it says it contains phosphorus, then you shouldn't use it. Just use the Scent-A-Way Laundry Detargent. It has NO UV brighteners and it makes your clothes look and smell invisible to deer. I use it and it works great. Good luck.
Thats a question that the manufactures give you all different ansers. No one is real sure about what and how deer see. UV is a concern when duck hunting but even then how do we know that. Its what we are told by someone who wants us to buy their product. I personally use the scent away products not for their non UV but cause it takes away the scent real well!
In my experience, if you don't move deer won't see you. They are color blind and not observant of anything that is stationary. Camo is for ducks and geese because they are very color conscious and for TV adds because deer hunters buy anything they think will help them. If you don't believe me, go stand very still on a deer trail some day and be prepared to get run over. They will most likely run up to within three feet of you before realizing they can't continue on the trail without dodging. If they are downwind, they might smell you before getting that close but you will really see how non-visual they are with regard to color and fabric composition. I have tried this and have been litterally run over.

If it's a concern, you can check for residue with a black light in a dark room.
