A .410 shotgun is not legal for deer in Washington State. State Law is a little screwy, requires a 20 gage or larger shotgun, a .24 min calaber rifle with a 16" min barrel length, or a .24 min calaber handgun with a 4" min barrel length.
The only way I would think about that is with the Taurus judge and I think hornady self defense bullets using crimson trace laser grips and like the 6.5 in. barrel. I don't know if they're hornady but someone makes self defense .410 shells specifically designed for the taurus judge and they shoot three '00 buckshot
.410 slugs have about the same powder leve as as a .38 special. Hardly a deer load. I once shot a large raccon with one at about 30 yards. The slug did not exit. Hardly a deer load but neither is a .22 LR yet one can kill a deer with it...
ARhunter,
The Taurus judge is a close range defensive handgun, not ment for hunting large game. Crimson tracer grips...oh boy...

Some state with slugs, buck shot not a good idea!
It's legal in most states, but I wouldn't recommend it. Try a 20 if you don't want the recoil of the 12, they work pretty well.
well shure ya can. jest dont xpect to kill em.
seriously, check your state game laws (try google)and as others have said, get a bigger gun.

yeah thats what i killed my first deer with
A .410 with slugs would do the trick to 50 yds probably, but it's not ideal.

It does not have enough knock down power to efficiently kill a deer. It's illegal to hunt deer with a 410 in PA.
It's illegal in Tennessee
i agree with rlowe357 +1
yes, you can take deer with a 410.
