I like to take a nice steak soak it in a hickory BBQ with some montreal steak seasoning tossed in. When It on the grill I put a bit more steak seasoning on it too! I try to let it soak overnight!

Jamaican jerk seasoning is really good if you marinade over about a weeks time with onions and then cook on a grill. Im a fan of very spicy food so if you are also you will love the flavor of this. the onions are also great when cooked.

Venison Steaks on the grill

Pound steaks thin as usual, marinate for one hour in a mixture of one bottle of Zesty Italian salad dressing mixed with one envelope of Lipton Dry Onion Soup Mix. This will do about two pound of meat. Turn meat in marinade so it coats evenly. Meantime, melt ¾ cup butter and mix in 2 teaspoons of black pepper. While the steaks are on the grill, brush the butter/pepper on them. DO NOT OVERCOOK, just sear them good. Outstanding!

I'm also a fan of Italian Dressing---it's quick and easy and tastes really fine.
