You're back in school already? I go back the 31st of August.
I have to go back at September 8....at least i wont have to be in school long before bowhunting, and moose hunting starts. I hope everyone has fun in school, and good luck hunting
Sorry we won't hear from you as often as usual. Sounds like you are set up with that new bow and trail cam and may have an exciting Fall though. Keep dreaming of that 25-06 like I did when I was your age. The anticipation makes it even nicer than it already is. Good luck with that new bow and let us know how it goes.
I go back to school in the second week of september, good luck everyone!
I go back tomorrow :(
I go back tomorrow also. but the school is surrounded by state land so I got plenty of time to hunt during breaks and after class.
I also go back tomorrow.
I just finished my first week at college. I will try and stay on here though. Good luck!
After you do your home work and your chores ... get your butt back on here!
Yeh, I went back to school on August 12 this year! I really hated that....... But at lest I wont be here to bother Clay anymore (ha ha.) Going back so early does mess lots of stuff up though. I mean it makes it harder to rais my new puppy and all kinds of other stuff. When I get home from highschool (I'm a freshman) I play with my dog and take her on a short run. Then I get to the homework. Next are the chores and then puppy time again. It aint that bad so far.....
Reid, I believe you misread Clay's and others' message to you and hjohn. It wasn't "we don't want to see or hear from you"... it was "we want you to ask more pertinent and mature questions and act and respond in a sportsmanlike manner." Nobody wants to chase you off the site.
You boys get the best education you can. That is the key to making lots of cash once you graduate and cash is what pays for hunting trips and guns, etc. If you have the ability it is hard to beat Engineering as a career. You will rarely be out of work and the pay is very good. Many engineers are paid better than lawyers and they didn't have to endure law school. If you want to be financially challenged go the liberal arts route.haha
Del, you are so right. Years ago, all you needed was a High School Diploma and you would do alright. Now you need to go to college just to get a good job.
Study hard and make the most out of your school days. Education is never a mistake. Come back on when you have the chance-after homework of course-we'll all miss you. I know you be around if you get something during hunting season.
Well, i went back the 19 but am jealous of you that go the 8 of september. I try to get on cut with chores homework and hunting it is hard. But ill keep you posted on my luck. In fact i may go out tonight and get a deer to take to the meat processor tommorrow then we can donate the rest of our deer to the hush program.
its hard 2poppa. i got football also
i go back the 31st starting tenth grade the school part kinda sucks but its worth it down the road i guess plus i get to see all my friends and its that much closer to my hunting seasons dad just found a nice piece of land the owners going to let us hunt for deer. but dels right about the college thing i saw an add or commercial dont realy remember but it said someone who gets even just an associates degree in college will on average make a million dollars more then someone with only a high school deploma in their lifetime
I was gonna do cross-country this year, but my acedemics cut into the scedule too much. Everybody on the team is begging me to join, but I am taking two accelerated math classes (I plan to be an engineer just like Del said) in my Freshman year and I have to get home to raise my puppy. School is no fun, but it is worth it (other than the fact that it is run by the government and you have NO RIGHTS there.....)
Just look at school like Hunter Education, it is a prerequisite to doing the things you love by making a good living so that you can pursue your dreams. Don't ever quit learning and stick with college until you graduate. I wanted to drop out several times, but my wife kept dogging me to hang in there. Best thing she ever did! (well, almost)
god im glad i gaduated last year, good luck to the rest of you though.
I start in a week and one day day from right now.
:( sad face
Man, do I miss being in school. This working for a living sure has its drawbacks. :-)
good way to put it WA Hunter
im not sure how it was when you guys went but now some of the classes seem like a waste so its hard to stay motivated. i have no plans on speaking spanish to people i live in america if they want to talk to me learn english algebra and geometry seem like a waste to i want to be a cop and i dont realy see how that ties in i thing vocational agriculture is the only class that i learn things i can actually use
What position do you play on your football team?
