Walleye from the great white north. I once had a cookoff with a bunch of friends. We cooked Manitoba walleye, Florida red snapper and grouper several different ways. We didn't tell them which was which. Everyone voted on their favorite and it came up almost unanimously Walleye... it did for me too and I was surprised.

Walleye, unless you're letting river caught salmon in as a possible choice.
Catfish.
Walleye, Crappie, Channel catfish
Perch, walleye, Crappie.
stream caught trout are my favorite.
I like salmon the best .
Crappie from anywhere, and Lake Erie perch!
salmon are good but I love a young brook trout fresh out of the stream and cooked over a campfire
I think oddly enough that breem are very good, second I would say trout, followed by catfish.
Brookies are the best as far as trout goes. My second choice would be Ling (Burbot) - Poor Mans Lobster.
Wild rainbows and perch are my favorites. Walleye is great, and very similar to perch, but the perch is just a little better.
i would have to say ling and walleye
sun fish (blue gill) yellow perch , or crappie
Trout and crappie are tied for first for me.
Crappie and walleye. The only Ling that I know of are saltwater. Is there a freshwater version?
i will take a plate full of Bluegill's any day of the week. 1. bluegill, 2 perch, 3 walleye.
perch are my fave.
2 bluegill
3 any other panfish
4 walleye
I'm a Crappie man myself.
I agree with the hunter and also catfish to me.

catfish.
Walleye is the best, but not readily available in my neck of the woods. Crappie is the best table fish in my area.
