By Dave Hurteau
From the Minneapolis-St. Paul Star Tribune:
What will probably be the largest black bear shot either in Minnesota or Wisconsin this fall was taken last weekend by Rhonda Anderson of Sarona, Wis., a fourth-grade school teacher. The animal weighed 658 pounds live weight, 564 dressed.
Be sure to check out the full story.

Nice Bear. Hope my kids have a teacher like that when they get in school.
Bet her students have more respect for her now, you want to bet? Amazing results from her hunt.
Sounds about like my school bus driver. She killed a huge, full-curl mountain ram a couple years back. It was pretty cool.
That is a stinkin' huge bear! Too bad hounds were used though I think it would make a far better story if she hunted it herself. Amazing trophy non the less though!
