I like the signs they have at the WMA's in Tennessee that are also military bases. Ft. Campbell and AEDC both have signs warning of unexploded ordnance and live ammo. And at AEDC you can have all the guns you want but if they catch you with a camera you have committed a felony... it's where they design and test experimental aircraft.
Love signs that easily get the point across. Reminds me of the sign my uncle used to have hanging from his mailbox. Big wooden sign with a .45 on it that said "Forget the Dog, Beware of Owner."
Do you know where I can purchase one? All I would add on is a bullet hole. If this does not make you think twice about trespassing onto someones land, I don't know what will.
I saw a sign like that on the reverse side of a for sale sign. The for sale sign was on a vehicle near a busy highway, and on the back were those exact words...except there was a target below the writing!!
Up to now, my favorite has always been, "ANYONE FOUND HERE AT NIGHT WILL BE FOUND HERE IN THE MORNING," but that one, like the one Dave just showed us, might be a bit too intellectual for the average doorknob rattler. For those guys you need the sign that says, "IF YOU BREAK IN HERE YOU WILL BE KILLED."
Great sign, but here in NE anything behind the road right away is private property and needs permission to enter. If its public, state , or federal property it will be marked with their signs and they will tell you if you can enter the property. To many people these days think just because they have a hunting license they can hunt anywhere. NOT TRUE. If people would use their heads we wouldn't need any signs on private property.
don't ya just love it?
caught a guy on my prop. a few years back,he said he got lost and was just passing through,i told him the next time he would PASS, but not through. never saw him again.

I used to have a sign on my house, "Trespassers found here at night will be found here in the morning" with a picture of the business end of a revolver pointing at you below it.
A while back I was in charge of landscaping a whole new developing town.
Major problem was the sodded areas, deep footprints from ball games, bike tracks, motorcycle tracks even the occasional car stuck in my freshly sodded fields.
The answer turn out to be a new signs with the radiation symbol and this warning "DANGER trespasser may be subject to radiation damage." About every 50 ft.
The cops stopped by my home and wanted an explanation, I just repeated the warning.
The town council called a special meeting to which I was invited.
I explained that anyone could get sunburn from being on that turf without protection.
The signs stayed!
I have a farm about 2 miles from my home and have problems with poaches evern with it posted ever l00 yds. Last fall was hunting in my ground blind and saw a couple guys coming my way. I used my pockt gun , a Kel-tec and shot over their heads 3 times and said a few words like the next shots will be lower. They left in a hurry. But, I can;t guard the place 24/7. I may get a dog to take along with me that loves to eat people. Outfittes in teh Rockis post BLM land as their own and us NR do not Know the difference. I told Game Warden the problem and he said was my responsibility to know BLM from Private. I told him to tell the outfitters as well????? Did no good $$$$$ buys lots of favors. As old saying goes, when in Rome do as Romans do. When i pay 5-7K for a hunt I expect to hunt that property. Thats why I dismissed Outfittes and found private Ranchers and pay his fees and he makes sure I'm safe and on his property and he knows where the game is as a rule. He will even let me live in his Basement or pitch a tent or park a camper. And, it don;t cost as much as a outfitter and I can hunt the full 5 weeks in Montana, or till I fill my tags, then can bird hunt or fish.A private Ranch is the only way to hunt out West in my opinion.Again to each his own. Slob hunters are the very reason our 2nd Adm is in trouble today.
Yeah,I really like this sign, since I have had the exact one on the outside of my remote Adirondack cabin for about 4 years now. It's gotten quite a few laughs.
I saw the same exact sign a few miles down an old fire cut out here in the New Jersey Pinelands. They ended up being a couple of Rich Anti-Hunters! I doubt they know how to shoot let alone own a gun. They do however have Cable TV! Thats how I found them, Followed the wires.
not as good as the one on my gate "Stevie Wonder shooting school for the blind Enter at your own risk" after you put it up you have to shoot it a couple dozen times to really get the point across
if people would keep to public lands or simply ask for permission, signs like that wouldnt be needed. but since most people dont care about anything but themselves... good sign.
One better, While hunting a ranch in Wyoming. We traveled 4 1/2 miles up into the mountains, by 4x4 thru 5 gates. Every gate had some kind of NO TRESSPASSING sign on them . The very last one read. TRESSPASSERS WILL BE SHOT ON SIGHT...SURVIVORS WILL BE SHOT AGAIN !
The camp director / cook put that up , the wardans were even scared of him .
I have that sign too, bought it in a tourist trap kind of store in Gatlinburg Tenn. My favorite, which I will post a pic of in a day or two, is on a Chilton Co. Al hunting club. It reads "Trespassers will be mistaken for deer"
Great sign! I hope it's not copyrighted because I'm going to make some for myself.
Years ago, I saw a sign on a cattle ranch that's not exactly a Posted sign, but it said: "It will only take you a minute to shut this gate, but it may take hours to pick the buckshot out of your hide if you don't."

That rocks! I need about 50 of those for where I hunt.
I wonder if we can get a discount with a bulk order?
The only thing it lacks is a crosshair with a backwards bullet hole through it.
Just about says it all, don't it?
Clear and succinct. I would love to have some also.

Man, I really need one of those after some jackass shot a buck on my property last year.
I am so going to put these up all around my property....just awesome.
I've always like:
Trespassers will be shot. Survivors will be shot again.

As soon as I read the sign, I started lookin' for someone with a gun behind the bales of hay!
Now you just need to hire some guns to keep a constant watch, so you can back it up at any time.
That's a silly sign. Don't those people at PETA know deer can't read?

Needs to add to it "prosecutors will be violated"...or something like that...
Great warning. Just hope the dummies that see the sign know how to read.
i know a old war vet who has had one of these signs up for years.
Thats a good one.
That’s pretty good, I’m thinking of making signs that read,
“EXTREME DANGER”
MILITARY WEOPONS TESTING IN PROGRESS
SATELLITE LASER AND PARTICAL BEAM IMPACT AREA
KEEP OUT!

Yee Haw!
My dad used to own some land out in Mississippi. Big open field, and right in the middle there was a sign he put there that said, "Danger: Minefield."
You would be amazed how often we would go out there in the morning, and some idiot was standing around, afraid to move.
where do I send for my buld order? Couldnt put it any plainer
