Welcome to Field & Stream!
I would like to buy some more lures for bass. I figured I would ask everyone what they prefer so I have an idea what I should buy. thanks
I crappie fish mostly in the spring but around the middle of may through fall I like crankbaits and worms. Top waters like the pop R's work good early in the morning and late in the afternoon. You would also be surprised at what you can catch on a crappie jig when the bait fish minnows are in the two inch size range.
For day break and dusk I like to use buzz baits. During the day, when the sun is on the water I like to use a crank bait. For night fishing I like to use a plastic lizzard.
Rapala Skitter pop, and Abrogast Hula popper those are the best
Thanks, I will try some of those
get a pack of yum dingers and also get a few spinnerbaits and an arbogast jitterburg
Whats the best bass lures?
thanks senkoman, i was actually thinkin about gettin the jitterbug
get some jigs that look like crawfish here in MAnila they Cant resist them!!!!
I use a soft plastic lizard with a swirly tail on my lake.It got me a bout 5 bass in a total of 2 hours last year when the bass were spawning.
I use a spinner jig of just about any design and color. Willow leaf, or Colorado blades;Light color or dark they all work for bass! Don't be surprized if you catch your fair share of PIKE with them as well!
Plastic Baits, Buzzbaits, Spinnerbaits, White Flukes, Crankbaits, are all good for bass. I think it just depends on the time of day and year. I like plastic weedless bait because you can really get in those tough spots. Buzzbaits, Spinnerbaits and Crankbaits in the stompy area's.
Strike King® 3X Plastics - 3X ZTOO is my all time favorite
Black Hula Popper at dusk, I cant top it.
The Rapala DT or the x rap. Those always catch alot of bass.i am really happy with them, i loaded up on them last summer. Strike King makes some good stuff to use sexy shad color.
I like to use shakey head jigs with a houdini worm, and spinners and spinnerbaits have done well.
The Rebel frog is a nice one.I catch alot wacky rigging Wave worms too.
