I actually got 2 40lb king(chinook) salmon. The first one got me a brunch for 2 from my local king salmon derby I enter every year. This year I hope to get one over 50lbs, but we'll see.

Oh, I got it from my local waters up here in Alaska :P

I caught a 45 pound salmon on a treble hook, bead and yarn rig out of the Rogue River outside Grants Pass, Oregon. Since I moved to California and had to gear up again my biggest is a 3.5 lb bass from Santa Margarita Lake.

I got a 40 inch river muskie out of the wisconsin river with a 6 lb. test line and a 2 inch jointed rapala. with no net to land it so i had to do it by hand.
