inshore or offshore at Gulf Shores?

Uploaded on February 27, 2009

Help. I am going on the family vacation to Alabama's Gulf Shores and have one day to fish. Do I do an inshore (which I can easier afford) or an offshore? Who's the charter that I should go with?
Thanks,

It all depends on your budget. Inshore charters are around $350 for two people plus tip. They fish under the perdido pass bridge and beside the jetties. Inshore fishing right now is getting better. They are catching slot-redfish and a few sheepshead. If your budget is tight, I recommend getting a pole and some live shrimp from Mo's tackle shop and go try your luck. Be sure to purchase an Alabama fishing license. If your budget is about $600 plus tip and want to take other family members, I would suggest giving me a call at 251-975-8111 and we can go do a 4 hour trolling trip for big bull redfish. Thanks, Captain Troy. distractioncharters dot com
