You can't use corn. It's artificial bait only.

If you're fly fishing, you might try a a Royal Wulff on one of the three prongs that feed into the Little River. Drives browns wild. If no luck you might try a weighted pheasent tail nymph drifting on the bottom. Parachute emergers can be good this time of year.

We ended up catching 16 total rainbows. We were in the east prong. It was only a three day trip.

So did you guys have fun?! What did you all use for bait...flies, trout lures? What were the water levels like. A buddy of mine is coming in from Johnson City and we were planning a fishing trip up there.

It was alot of fun. We rented a cabin at Sherwood Forest Resort and I would go by the Smoky Mountain Angler fly shop on east parkway for flies and lures and some great sdvice. We had a great trip. We caught all of our rainbows on dry flies.

Hi, I going to be in the Smoky's by Gatlinburg Labor Day Weekend. I love fishing, but am not that knowledgable on it. Any advice on fishing there? What to use, where to fish, when.. Any location close to Gatlinburg that is good?
