Big Game Hunting
We started the day with no power on this side of the vally. Suv was on empty closest place to get gas was 15 miles away so we pushed on anyway. We was just after mule deer sheds that day but the world takes turns for the better sometimes that none of can ever imagine. Me & my father hiked most the day then we started looping around and out towards the suv when we started to come in this rugged thick draw with rockslides & all that good stuff. Anyway I seen below me was a dark patch of trees right in the draw. This is the kind of area in the past where i found alot of sheds before. So after 2 rockslides later I get about 10 yards above this patch of thick tress & just like I thought some bones looks like a skull of some kind "The horns was poped off the skull when I found him". My first thought was mule deer with his horns chewed to just the butt end of his antlers Or maybe a small cow like you find many times in Westren Montana. Took a few more steps wow Its a RAM!!! with no horns took a look around then there was his horns spread out about 15 yards apart on the ground pretty well hidden in the brush!!! Thanks to the CSKT Tribal Fish & Game I got this ram back with it plugged faster then I thought the procces would take. I have to wait the 60 day drying period to get a offical score on him that will be on July 3, 2009. I'm new to this site & I'm here to learn and here to help if I can in anyway thank you for having me. If you want to see photos I loaded on Field&Stream.

Nice horns, I would like to know the diameter of the bases and also find the lack of substancial brooming interesting.
