Moose Permit

How many of you are putting in for a moose tag this year? I think here in Montana they raised the price by $25. I put in for hopes to get drawn.

here in Alaska, moose tags are available over-the-counter, even for non-residents...I enter cow permit drawings when they are available and I drew one last year...I ended up shooting a bull on the last day of the bull season so I wasnt allowed to use the cow permit, since you can only shoot one moose per season...

I was born and raised in MT and my Dad drew for moose, I never got lucky...he drew for an area south of bozeman, in the spanish peaks....lots of moose down there...

in minnesota they only let you have one permit per lifetime
