This is an easy way to keep matches, small tinder, or anything else dry and it even floats! It works with most sharpies, but it doesn't work with the ultra fine point sharpie.
1. Take off the cap 2. Grab the inside part that holds the tip, and move it back and forth slowly until it comes apart. You can use a little force. 3. The inside should come out which includes the tip and the ink cartridge. Take the ink cartridge out and discard it. 4. You should now be left with the tip, cap, and body. You may need to clean ink out of the body. Just stick your matches, or or anything thats small enough to fit in the body. Then put the part that hods the tip in the body and push it down. It may take some force the first time. Then put the cap on and your ready to go. Good luck!
HiLiter works good too-you can take off the back take out the ink cartridge. It'll store all sorts of things, I put matches, fishing hooks, weights and string, as well as the all important last cigarette, plus you can use the tip to write. excellent tip!
never thought of that i always use an altoids tin and put tp in it but in isnt water proof
that is preety cool but u can also use a 20. gauge fired shotshell and a12.gauge shotshell gust put each end and slide them together its waterproof and it floats
