Each spring my street in Boulder, Colorado seems to be the birthing place for at least one pair of mule deer fawns. It happens like clockwork every June. I have no idea why they choose our street. This year we caught them mere hours after they were born. They were nursing and barely able to stand. Tim Romano

Later in the summer and into the fall I’ll curse, throw rocks, and even pull out the pellet gun to chase the little buggers away, as they will inevitably eat half my garden and rip up the flowers around my house. But for a couple hours each June, I run around the neighborhood with my wife and all the kids on the block cooing over what might be the cutest balls of fur I’ve ever seen. Take a look and tell us if you see something cute, or just a future neighborhood nuisance. Tim Romano
