Great story and an amazing buck. I love the picture of the two bucks on the garage floor, it really shows the difference between a good buck to be proud of and put on your wall and a truly giant record book animal. Congratulations.

Wow! Of course impossible to not be impressed by the longest main beam EVER!....but an 18inch G2? That isn't a record on it's own as well? I'd have to think it might be...if not in some very limited company.

Congrats!

That is beautiful property judging by the back round and it sounds like a really good management plan all it took was the right genetics, age and nutrition to get this big. If your lucky and u stick to that management plan you very well could see another 200inch deer. The record main beams i doubt will be duplicated thats amazing.

Brian,
Magnificant Buck. Congratulations with your success this year. Thought it was great to recognize your grandfathers in getting your family started in the right direction, and in finding a quality area.
I've measured here in Minnesota for many years. I"d sure like to see a copy of the score sheet, and I also think it would be great to get a comparison measurement as a Typical. It appears to be a basic 5 X 4, with additional non-typ points.
Congrats again, WOW.

As a typical 9 frame the deer would score at 218" Gross. That gives you an idea of the frame. As soon as I get the official score sheet back I will share it on my website.
