The Inshore Extreme IECL71220 is a casting model in a similar series. All of the casting rods are designed for redfish, trout and snook, with actions tuned for popping corks and lightweight swimming lures. Four of the casting models, including this one, come with longer handles that many inshore anglers like. ‘A gorgeous, well-made, accurate rod,’ said one tester. ‘Beautiful for topwater lures, bass crankbaits and all-around popping,’ said another. But several felt it was a bit light for its intended use and that ‘a big red could put a hurt on it.’
