Emily Kantner is a contributing writer for Field & Stream. When she’s not working, you can find her hiking, kayaking, or chasing wild things with a bow near her hometown of Hershey, Pennsylvania.
Experience
Kantner previously worked as a hunting editor for Outdoor Sportsman Group, where she specialized in bowhunting and gear coverage. She now freelances as a writer, editor, and communications consultant, and her work has appeared in dozens of publications.
In addition to freelancing, Kantner pursues her passion for conservation as Communications Manager for the Pennsylvania Game Commission.
Education
Kantner graduated from Lebanon Valley College in Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in communications.
