Bear-related complaints and incidents have risen steadily in New Jersey since Gov. Jon Corzine forced his nonlethal management plan on the state in 2006. So what will it take to get another bear hunt? How about new governor?

From The Express-Times:

_The Democratic incumbent’s gubernatorial opponents, Republican candidate Chris Christie and independent Chris Daggett, stand on the other side of the debate and support having a bear hunt, according to representatives of their campaigns. . . .

“This is a serious matter of public safety,” state Sen. Steve Oroho, R-Sussex/Morris, said in a statement. “Adults and children alike in our communities are literally under attack because the bear population is not being adequately controlled.”

What do you think? Will New Jersey see another bear hunt without another governor.
