Come Intern for Field & Stream This Summer!

Field & Stream is on the hunt for a hardworking and ambitious college student to serve as our summer web intern. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing and communications skills, as well as a passion for hunting and fishing. A journalism or English background is preferred.

As our summer intern, you will be treated as a full-time member of the F&S team and will participate in all aspects of web editorial work. That includes:

• Editing and writing stories for the website

• Pitching story ideas at staff meetings

• Shooting and editing video

• Building content in our CMS

• Fact-checking and research

• Calling in and returning products for photo shoots

• Helping to manage social-media accounts

Plus, we promise that you will not be asked to make a single coffee run for another editor. Awesome, right?

The internship is based in our New York City office and will run from mid-May to late July, though we can be flexible on the exact dates. The intern must be able to find his or her own housing in NYC for the duration of the internship; but no fear: there are many short-term student-housing dorms in the city.
