Catch Location: Minneapolis Description: One of the most awesome experiences I’ve had fishing. This thing was a BEAST. The drag was set tight on a 7 foot heavy rod and it was peeling off line like no ones business. There was an honest chance of the rod snapping. I fought it well and got it to the boat where it was landed by my buddy Jon without a net. I know this fish looks big, but really, the pictures hardly do it justice. It was nearly 3 feet long, 14-16 inches tall and 8 inches thick. A true river monster.
