We all have had to change or add oil to our quads (if you haven’t, stop reading and go do it now!). Oftentimes there is not a funnel available, and you end up pouring oil all over the engine cases when trying to hit the filler hole. If you don’t have a funnel handy, instead of testing your hand-eye coordination, use a small open-end wrench or another pointed object that you have handy to make a small puncture in the side of the oil bottle’s seal under the cap. This method makes for a slower, more controlled pour than just removing the seal, which should help keep spills to a minimum and improve your aim.
