Quad batteries aren’t cheap, if you haven’t noticed. So, it’s worth it to keep an eye on the overall health of your quad’s battery. First, keep the terminals clean from corrosion and dirt. Also, if you have a non-sealed-type battery and you notice the acid level is dipping past the full mark, fill it with distilled water. If you don’t ride your ATV during winter months (or even if you let it sit for a while in the summer), hook the battery up to a Battery Tender to keep it charged and healthy during the off season. And if you live in a frigid winter climate, store your quad’s batter in a warm, dry place with the Battery Tender attached.
