**Bushnell **
Image-stabilization technology has come a long way in only a few years. The new 10x35mm StableView binocular from Bushnell Performance Optics intends to take the field to new heights; it is the only binocular of its kind to offer two stabilization modes.

In the Normal mode, it will compensate for up to three degrees of motion, which makes the binocular easier to use in a moving boat or vehicle. In the Fine mode, the StableView will dampen up to one degree of movement, which significantly reduces hand tremors and the "shake" that is typical at higher magnification. This alone should be a boon to any hunter prone to buck fever.

Bushnell believes the Stable-View's 10X magnification and bright image make it an ideal tool for hunters who spend a lot of time peering through binoculars. In addition, the waterproof, fogproof construction and non-slip rubber armoring makes it perfect for use in wet weather. Two AA batteries power the internal stabilizer.

The StableView also features a roof-prism design with top-quality BaK4 prism glass that is phase corrected for better contrast. All lenses are fully multicoated. Twist-up eyecups and extended eye relief makes it easier for those wearing glasses. A neck strap and carrying case are standard. SRP: $899.99. Booth #3933. (800-423-3537; www.bushnell.com)

Crimson Trace
The Crimson Trace Model VF-302 vertical forearm Lasergrip has been designed to fit any long gun that has a Picatinny Rail or Weaver mount system. The idea was to give Special Ops personnel using long guns the same tactical advantages they have with Lasergrip-equipped handguns.

The VF-302 allows the operator to keep the red dot on target while scanning the surrounding area for other threats. Further-more, the VF-302-equipped shotgun or rifle does not need to be brought up to eye level in order to acquire the target. This creates more options in a close-in encounter that may not allow for perfect iron sight acquisition.

The VF-302 attaches directly to the stock rail; installation takes about one minute. Two different mounting systems are atched to the base. The civilian-market VF-302 uses two knurled, self-locking thumbnuts for quick mounting and dismounting on all Mil-Spec/Weaver dovetail rails. SRP: $399. The VF-302M Mil-Spec attaches to the rail using an A.R.M.S., Inc., mount. A quick-detach, single-throw lever assures the user of quick and secure installation. SRP: $479. Booth #4969.
