Small items that can carry big margins

Field & Stream Online Editors

Life can be hard to predict, but shooting sports retailers can always count on two events: The sun will rise and accessories will sell. Even in a tough spending year, well-placed accessories can really add to the bottom line. Here are some products you'll want to add to this year's inventory.

B-Square/LE Accessories
B-Square Tactical products are machined from lightweight, premium-grade aircraft aluminum, and they offer quick, easy installation-with no gunsmithing necessary. Featuring primarily AR-15 accessories, the new tactical lineup includes mounts for white lights and lasers, standard and quick-detach tactical rings, lightweight and simple-to-install Picatinny forearm replacements, a variety of bipods, a sling-attach plate, unique tri-rail accessory scope rings and standard and quick-detach AR-15 flattop risers. SRP: $13.90 to $199.90. Booth #1519. (800-433-2909; b-square.com)

**Brownells **
Designed to enhance the performance of virtually any firearm, Friction Defense lubricant employs an advanced synthetic blend that is stable and stays on the gun in virtually any environment. Brownells chose to blend two of the most proven synthetic lubricants available today-Teflon and molybdenum disulfide (moly)-in a premium synthetic base. The formula provides unmatched lubricating performance that doesn't thicken in the cold and won't let you down in extreme heat.

Extreme-pressure additives protect the lubricant from breaking down during shooting. The unique heat-transfer properties help to move excess heat away from the firearm, minimizing heat-related wear and stress on metal components. SRP: $3.97 for a two-ounce bottle. Booth #8725. Carry-Lite
Designed to provoke a dominant response from a gobbler, the new Pretty Boy & Girl decoy features a white and blue painted head and a photorealistic removable fan. An actual turkey fan can be used for increased realism. A sitting hen decoy completes the visual, inciting a dominant tom to step out and be taken. The package includes a stake and an orange- net carrying bag. SRP: $99. Booth #3913. (479-782-8971; carrylite decoys.com)

**Crimson Trace **
Crimson Trace has announced that the G-Series, the company's eagerly anticipated new Lasergrips for Glock pistols, is now on dealer shelves. The four models in the series-each custom-designed to fit a specific Glock frame-are compatible with 20 different Glocks in all, including full- size, compact and subcompact handguns.

The one-piece unit installs easily and securely. Simply slide it over the backstrap and replace the trigger-housing pin. Creating Lasergrips for Glock's polymer-framed pistols proved to be a challenge- typically, the Lasergrip replaces removable stock grips. With the new G-Series, though, Crimson Trace believes it has set a design, quality and performance benchmark for laser-sighting systems for polymer-framed guns. The G-Series is designed with the activation switch located at the back of the grip, so the laser's bright, steady beam turns on when the firearm is held in a normal firing grip.

The first model to be released, the LG-617, fits Glock models 17, 17L, 22, 24, 31, 34, 35 and 37. The next three to be released- the LG-619, LG-626 and LG-629-will fit the Glock 19, 23, 25, 32, 38, Glock 26, 27, 28, 33, 39 and Glock 29 and 30, respectively. SRP: $299. Booth #5808.
