One of the complaints leveled at the Model 700 is that its small extractor doesn’t pull fired cases reliably. The truth is that it pulls just fine, but it works better if you get under the extractor with a toothpick to get out grease or powder fouling or brass chips that might have accumulated. You can also use a cat’s claw, but you need a cat that will go along with the program.
