Video: Black Bear Breaks In and Startles Sleeping Man

Do you let your imagination run wild when weird noises awaken you in the middle of the night? Sometimes a squeaky floorboard or a tree branch scratching at the outside of window can take on a life of its own when you’re home alone in the pitch black. On the other hand, sometimes that noise that sounds like a bear at your door really is a bear at your door. A video recently posted to YouTube shows one guy who found that out for himself.

While the man sleeps on a couch, a lone black bear opens the door behind him and curiously begins to enter the home. The man wakes up and jumps atop the couch, still seemingly unsure of what’s trying to enter. Fortunately, he turns on a light and scares the bear away without incident. A home-security system filmed the whole thing.
