Yet another video for your case of the mid winter Monday's. While Deeter's dreaming of warmer climes and massive snook, I just can't seem to shake this cold weather feeling. Muskie, deep in the heart of Wisconsin seemed to fit this wicked cold snap most have been experiencing.
I personally have never caught a muskie on a fly, and have tried a handful of times. We only have a limited number of spots near where I live to attempt such feats and only during very small windows of opportunity can we take them up top on flies.
Anyone out there caught big muskie on a fly? Do you do it regularly? What kind of techniques and gear do you use?
