Surface Film: A Fishing Photo Art Show
SHARE

Like really great photography that revolves around fishing? If so and you’re in the Denver, Colorado area during the month of February I highly recommend stopping by the Anthology Fine Art Gallery and taking a peek.

The Greenbacks, a newly formed group of young, passionate Colorado Trout Unlimited members and fishing conservationists, would like to invite you to view Surface Film, a month long fishing photography exhibit that will be on display throughout month of February 2011 in the heart of downtown Denver’s Santa Fe Art District.

The show will feature 30 framed prints by some of the best fishing photographers in the business and if you come by for our opening on Thursday, February 3rd from 6:30 – 11:00pm there will be free beer from Odell brewing company, live music and you’ll have a chance to talk to some of the photographers about their work. 100% of the proceeds will go Colorado Trout Unlimited for their river conservation work.

I have to be honest here. I am the one who picked out all the images and my butt is on the line to make this as good as a show as it can be. So even if you don’t live in the area, tell your friends, family and fishing companions that are more local to come out and join us.

Oh, and a little shout out to Mr. Joe Cermele over at the Honest Angler Blog for the clever name suggestion. Thanks, Joe.
