One more reason to practice your fly casting: Doing so keeps the arm limber, the shoulder loose, and the accuracy honed.

Admittedly, that hasn’t done me much good on the river in recent weeks, but it does pay dividends when one engages in a snowball fight with his son and the kid nextdoor.

I guess the season brings out the youthful enthusiasm in all of us. The truth of the matter — I got the worst of this exchange.
