Videos: Spey Rod Tips and Techniques

It’s winter and that means many of you are probably out throwing the super long rod for steelhead and salmon. Our friends over at Deneki Outdoors always seem to have some of the best and most easily understood two handed tactics on the web. Here are three new ones they’ve released in the past couple weeks.

The first video shows how to prevent “rod mating” by Tom Larimer, followed by Bryan Styskal talking about how important the bottom hand is and why you want to think about using it throughout the casting stroke. The third video, also by Tom Larimer reviews advanced anchor placement.
