Marc Montocchio is a photographer and videographer that makes his living on and under the water. He’s an exceptionally talented fellow and has done some amazing things.

He’s at it again with “Origin of the Sky,” a documentary film on the Sian Ka’an reserve in Mexico. He mentions that it’s not specifically a fly fishing movie, but does have some amazing shots underwater super slow motion of bonefish feeding, as well as some incredible shots of permit swimming around — not to mention some amazing aerial shots of the surrounding area he captured from a powered paraglider.

The full length movie is slated for a fall release, but in the meantime I thought the Fly Talk audience would appreciate this behind the scenes “making of” trailer.
