Spotted: 6-Legged Whitetail

width=250Just when you think you've seen everything...along comes a six-legged deer. That's right. A story in the Rome News-Tribune, in Georgia, reports that a fawn with six legs was found last weekend after it was attacked by a couple of dogs. X-rays show the deer has two distinct pelvises, and it walks using one leg from each pelvis. The fawn also had two tails, but one was amputated. A veterinarian called the whitetail an anomaly and said it appears it had an identical twin that didn't form all the way. Man, could you imagine spotting this thing from a tree stand? What's the most bizarre thing you've all seen in the outdoors? —Colin
