So I just got back from the Columbia River in Oregon/Washington, and I'm train wreck physically and mentally. Do you know how strange it is to use tuna and marlin tackle in freshwater? And do you know why I had to use it? Because the white sturgeon in the Columbia average 200 to 300 pounds, but can top out at almost 1,000 pounds. Never in my life have I experienced such epic fish fights in freshwater, nor have I used as much IcyHot to cope with them. I was invited to the great Northwest but my buddy Chuck Smock from Cabela's, and while there we also got to take a swing at some tiger muskies on the fly. I won't tell you what happened, but I still can't sleep and my hands still shake. Enjoy the episode, and don't forget to take the latest Hook Shots Quiz for a chance to win some new pliers.
