Here’s the scenario. You show up to fish “Battle on Bago,” a big ice tournament on Lake Winnebago in Wisconsin. But, alas, there are so many competitors, there is no more room to park. You think, “T__here’s a foot of ice, so I’ll just park my truck on the lake.” Problem is, when a bunch of other dudes get the same idea, you end up making the local tow and recovery operations a ton of money. Thirty-six vehicles that were parked too close together broke through the ice, and, according to this story on WorldRecordsAcademy.org, that sets a new world record for most vehicles breaking through ice at one time. Thankfully, none of the accounts I read reported anyone being injured. Hey, at least it’s warm this year…those trucks should dry out in no time.
