And some of the recreational and wildlife groups reportedly are none too happy about the proposal.

Bruce Bjork, chief of the enforcement program for the Department of Fish and Wildlife, said the agency is concerned its mission will change too much, and game officers might find themselves writing a lot of traffic citations like state troopers.
