_Fish and Wildlife enforcement officers would move to the Washington State Patrol under one of the government efficiency moves being considered by Gov. Chris Gregoire’s administration.
And some of the recreational and wildlife groups reportedly are none too happy about the proposal.
Bruce Bjork, chief of the enforcement program for the Department of Fish and Wildlife, said the agency is concerned its mission will change too much, and game officers might find themselves writing a lot of traffic citations like state troopers.
