Because this position has oversight of regulations including those that have an impact on hunting, sportsmen have reason to be concerned about the nominee’s stated views that hunting be banned if its only value is that of recreation. _Concerns should be heightened by the fact that this political appointee has openly advocated for animals to have the right to sue in a court of law. . . .
