If your mission is to get critter cams on the backs of as many blue marlin as possible, there’s really only one way to do it right; travel the globe and fish with only the best-of-the-best billfish captains. The idea here is to use what’s learned from the cameras to see if marlin that are caught and released actually survive. It’s a massive effort being put forward by National Geographic and the Billfish Foundation, and I wouldn’t mind riding along with this crew for a couple months at all.
