This past weekend, hunters Michael and John Trenoweth completed some important research that could save the necks of many a fellow hunter. After a successful morning in the Maine woods in which Michael bagged a nice 10-pointer, the two determined unequivocally that loading a 200-plus-pound deer to the luggage rack of a single-seat ATV, then riding double without helmets, and hitting rock . . . is a bad idea.
