Legend has it that Henry Ford once offered $1200 worth of Ford Motor Company stock in exchange for twenty pages of advertising in a startup magazine called Field & Stream. The editors needed cash in hand, so they turned him down. It’s hard to say what could have been, but one way or another we have to give them credit for sticking to their guns.
