First Look: The Traditions NitroFire Muzzleloader

This new rifle from Traditions Firearms is made for a new kind of black powder

So, is it really a muzzleloader if it loads through the breech? In this case, yes, because with the new Traditions NitroFire rifle, the bullet is still loaded via the muzzle. This gun has been designed in conjunction with Federal’s new FireStick, which is a self-contained powder charge filled with either 100 or 120 pre-measured grains of Hodgdon’s all-new Triple 8 powder. The charges are sealed, consistent, and weather-proof. Just add a No. 209 primer, and you’re good to go. The new gun retails for $550 to $700, configuration depending.
