Small jigs of about 1/32 oz. weight are killer. Good color combonations include black/purple, pink/white, and orange/white. I have had some great luck with olive bead headed wolly boogers in a size 6. You can dead drift these or strip them through tail outs. The water conditions will dictate the size and color of your flies and jigs, so pack several in different sizes and weights. Good luck I hope this helps.
Any egg pattern should and will work. I have also been using alot of different nympths and stoneflys in different sizes and colors and have had alot of luck www.fisherie.com is a site full of information on lake tribs. Go to the discussion board and read if you have the extra time
