whats a good lure for trolling for pike and prickle in a small lake?

a medium sized johnsons weedless silver spoon. it worked great for me. the great thing is that you can troll anywhere without getting MAJORLY hung up. plus they have great action.

By "prickle", by any chance do you mean pickerel? And just about any spoon will work, my favorite colors are plain silver, and plain gold.

Roster Tails in various sizes work quite well. Yellow, chartreuse, orange and red are good colors to start with.

i like a black and silver rapala they look a lot like a smelt and the game fish feed heavily on them in my area

Pike will bite worms, jigs, spoons, spinners spinnerbaits, stickbaits, jerkbaits, crankbaits, swimbaits, curly tails, and anything else soo you can take your pick.

Dare Devele 5 of Diamonds, Rapala (Northern Pike), Dare Devele in Red and White. Weedless swim bait matching the baitfish (I like to use the Rainbow Trout and Walleye patterns).
