The Platinum Power Belts are a slightly improved version of the regular jobs. They seem to work just as well also. The chief difference is a slightly better ogive on the nose and skirt that seals slightly better.

If your rifle shoots them consistantly then I'd use them. According to my friends at CVA their guns and Powerbelt bullets are made for each other as BPI is the parent company for CVA & PBB

Thanks for the feed back on the platinum power belts. I,m shooting a cva accura the cheapest one I could find. $299+tax cabelas. Clay I wanted a savage but not for a one week season and 2x the money. I,ve had a few other muzzle loaders but they all have been a pain in the neck. Hope the accura will do better just starting to work with it. I put a old 2.5x8x32vxIII on it that I had on the Browning A/bolt 30/06. I had a question on here a few months ago about the trijicon scopes for the A/ bolt, I went with the 3x9x40mildot love it so far. Barnes ttsx 130gr less than moa 3 shot groups. Win 748. Thanks Stanleyda
